What is BlackBalloon?

A black balloon is an anomaly.

Balloons are normally bright and colorful, joyous and celebratory in nature. But a black balloon though?... that's just uncomfortable. It's not the norm. It's not how it should be...

So is mental illness. Nearly 1 in 5 adults live with mental illness. That's around 51.5 Million people! Your family, friends, co-workers, the person on the street corner, or behind you at the grocery store check out line. It's easy to think refer to people as "struggling" with mental illness. But we fail to acknowledge that they are doing more than just struggling with it ...THEY ARE OVERCOMING IT! EVERY DAY! This brand was formed to celebrate those little victories.

BlackBalloon is a brand inspired by overcomers – those fighting the battle everyday, and overcoming, one day at a time.
